Why not purchase securely on-line?

What is the advantage of ordering and paying on-line?

If you order by post, even first class mail will take 2 to 3 working days to reach us.  If you send a cheque. we will present it to our bank within 2 to 3 working days, they will then take 5 working days to clear it and then 3 to 4 further working days to inform us by second class post of any problems.  This means that we have to allow a minimum of 10 working days before shipping your order, starting from the day we receive your order.  This is standard practice for all mail order companies.

With the exception of our made-to-measure products, most items are available from stock for immediate delivery as soon as we receive a cleared payment.  With a credit card payment, we can ship these items by first class post within 2 working days or less.  Many of our customers receive their order the next working day.

Is it safe to use my credit card on-line?

Yes.

Firstly your card details are never seen by us, they are handled by WorldPay, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland.  You pay them, they pay us one month later.  All we get is your order details, address details and your transaction number, issued to us and you by WorldPay.

Secondly, the information you send them is encrypted so that it can not be intercepted.  You can tell this because the address in your browser will show https and you will also see the padlock symbol.

Most or all of my items are stock items and I want to order and pay by credit card on-line to get them quickly, what do I do?
