Many children suffer from daytime incontinence and even more from bedwetting. Statistics show that in an average class of 30 children, six will still be bedwetting at age 5, two will still be bedwetting at age 10 and that one is likely to continue bedwetting into teenage and often adult life. Our terry-towelling pants or nappies will often help during toilet and bedwetting training. Studies suggest that wearing a disposable nappy (diaper) or pull-up bedwetting pants at night may subconsciously lead the child's brain to feel that they are wearing a nappy, so it's OK to wet and that there is no need to get up and go to the toilet. Conversely, the feeling of cloth next to the skin prompts them to wake up before, during or straight after wetting. Our 3,000ml bed pads, waterproof mattress covers and draw sheets are also useful during this training.
In the UK most playgroups, nursery and reception classes will not accept children wearing disposable nappies (diapers) or pull-ups, often worn by children who only have light to moderate occasional daytime urinary incontinence. As part of normal school life children have to undress with their friends for PE and, as they get older, they will want to take part in school trips and sleep-overs. Disposable nappies (diapers), pull-ups and waterproof plastic pants are often inappropriate and many incontinent children will feel unable to take part in these activities. For light to medium urinary incontinence, as an alternative to disposable nappies (diapers), pull-ups and waterproof plastic pants, we are pleased to be able to offer a range of discreet, stylish and comfortable products which should allow most children to have a normal lifestyle. All our incontinence briefs feature an absorbent pad with a waterproof lining which is discreetly stitched inside under a stay dry lining which fits close to the body. All are machine washable for up to 200 washes, offering a considerable saving when compared to the cost of using disposable nappies or pull-ups. If necessary, our briefs can easily and discreetly be changed by the child (without any adult help) and brought home in a waterproof bag (such as a soap bag) for machine washing.

| These terry-towelling pants feature a terry-towelling inner liner, which is open at the front and back waist-band to form a pocket. This enables the user to insert a 30" or 36" terry-nappy, folded to produce a large 4-ply soaker, giving 6 layers of towelling where it is needed most. Removable soakers allow for easy washing and drying of both the pants and the soaker pad. Alternatively, users can insert a disposable pad inside the pocket. Side-snap fastenings allow for easy changing by a carer if required. For added comfort, the waist and leg openings are bound with plush elastic.
